Calling all Veiock's.
If your last name is Veiock or Feiock, we are probably related. The Veiock families come from Vorderweidenthal Germany. I am researching their ancestory.
In cooperation with two other genealogist, we have acquired quite a bit of the Ancestry of Balthasar Veiock who came to America in 1840. Some of his relatives came over sooner.
Balthasar Veiock
He came to American with his father Johannes Michael Veiock and some family members. We do not know what happened to Johannes Michael Veiock after his arrival, but Balthasar and others made their way to Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.
Balthasar was a shoemaker by trade. He married a Dorothea Dietrick, from Marion Township, Beaver Co., Pa., about 1850.
They first settled in North Sewickely Township, Beaver Co., Pa. Later they moved to New Brighton, Beaver Co., Pa., where he set up his Boot and Shoe Shop.
